Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
- Accurately type, prepare, and maintain accounting documents and records.
- Assist in reconciling accounts in a timely manner.
- Daily data entry of financial transactions into our database.
- Support company personnel with various accounting-related tasks.
- Research, track, and resolve accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on specific activity areas.
- Adhere to established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
- Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative
- Able to meet deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
- Proficient with MS Word and Excel, Outlook experience desired
- Knowledge of business office procedures
- Basic mathematical skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting and financial principles
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks efficiently.
- Good data entry and word processing skills.
- Well-organized with strong technical and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without Visa sponsorship.
- Experience with accounting software programs (e.g., Procas).
- Previous internship or related experience in accounting or finance.
- Hands-on experience in accounting and finance.
- Exposure to real-world business transactions and processes.
- Mentorship from experienced professionals in the field.
