Job Summary

Elite Construction Solutions, a division of Accuserve Solutions, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our growing organization. The Human Resources Business Partner will serve as a strategic partner and consultant to leadership and the corporate HR team. The HR Business Partner expertise areas include the daily People operations of our Elite Construction business units, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. The successful candidate will be a critical thinker with excellent communication and organizational skills. The HRBP will be skilled in collaborating as a strategic ally with all levels of leadership, adept at driving impactful HR best practices and influencing business decisions. The HRBP will report directly to the VP, Administrative Strategy and partner very closely with the Corporate HR team. This role is based in St. Louis, MO and the individual will be required to work in the office, travel less than 10%.

General responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with the leaders, learn the business and support daily operations of the Elite business units and its affiliates.
  • Provide thought leadership and partnership to the Elite leadership team on how HR can enable the success of the business’s strategic objectives
  • Lead the facilitation and communication of compensation, benefits, PTO, and other discussions with employees following corporate HR processes.
  • Accountable to administer and maintain employee files via the corporate file management standards and processes.
  • Work with Elite leadership to resolve employee disputes, provide coaching and support to employees, and ensure the company follows employment laws and regulations with corporate expectations.
  • Evaluate issues, patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for development of new policies and practices in conjunction with corporate HR
  • Perform Exit Interviews and help with employee surveys, focus groups and other items to monitor employee morale and engagement.
  • Consults with Corporate HR on all terminations prior to execution and ensures all documentation and practices have been followed.
  • Conduct W2 New Hire orientation and support onboarding initiatives.?
  • Coordinate with corporate HR to ensure required legal postings and compliance are current and properly administered at local offices and electronically available.
  • Integrate employees from acquired companies, assimilating cultures and ensuring effective onboarding of new teams.
  • Monitor, audit, and investigate HR related matters and regulations including, but not limited to sexual harassment, discrimination, ADA, FMLA, Wage and Hour, EEOC, DOL, etc.
  • Responsible for deploying tactics to build culture, enhance employee experience, and retain talent.
  • Support the 1099 Resource Planning efforts including the onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Responsible for the entire Life Cycle Recruiting processes for the W2 workforce following corporate practices for the HRIS.
  • Responsible for HRIS data entry and data integrity of all Elite people data following corporate processes for the HRIS.
  • Responsible for People data reports and analytics utilizing the corporate HRIS.
  • Accountable for coordinating employee engagement and community outreach events.
  • Find ways to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention.
  • Work with onboarding coordinator on establishing and maintaining excellent onboarding experience for new hire utilizing corporate HR standard practices.
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field required
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in human resources generalist or HRBP position required.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP Certification preferred.
  • Prior experience working in complex matrix organization supporting multiple business units and physical locations is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications required.??
  • Previous experience with Paylocity preferred.
  • Previous experience in restoration and construction industry preferred.
  • Previous experience in a sales organization preferred.
  • Proficient in effectively navigating and managing seasonal fluctuations in workforce dynamics within the HR disciplines.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively at all levels of the organization, in person and remote.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR functions, employment law and regulatory compliance; including but not limited to 1099 | IRS classification requirements.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
