Ace Hardware Store is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Outdoor Lot Associate to join our team. As an Outdoor Lot Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining the outdoor areas of our store. Responsibilities:
Assisting Customers: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, assisting with product inquiries, and helping them load purchased items into their vehicles.
Assembly of Outdoor Equipment: Assemble outdoor equipment such as grills, patio furniture, and lawn mowers according to manufacturer instructions.
Outdoor Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of outdoor products, ensuring they are properly stocked and organized for customer convenience.
Parking Lot Maintenance: Keep the parking lot clean, organized, and free of debris. This includes sweeping, picking up trash, and maintaining designated parking areas.
Outdoor Area Maintenance: Maintain the overall appearance of the outdoor areas of the store, including sidewalks, gardening section, and outdoor displays.
Cart Retrieval: Collect shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to designated areas for customer use.
Assist with Special Projects: Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by management, which may include setting up outdoor displays or participating in store events.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment preferred.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
