About the Position:

Ace Parking Management, Inc., operating as SAS Access Systems, is seeking an Estimator responsible for developing competitive proposals and job budgets for new and existing customers. The Estimator will deliver precise and accurate bids for all assigned projects, working closely with clients and management teams to provide excellence in customer service. Responsibilities include analyzing project scopes to prepare cost estimates based on estimated labor time, equipment costs, and specification requirements, as well as tracking all bids and job costs. Accountability

· Prepare detailed proposals and estimates with attention to detail and efficiency.

· Prioritize tasks effectively and multitask as needed.

· Ensure overall design and components are suitable for the application.

· Document all estimation information accurately for team access.

· Track and assist with awarded contracts and projects.

· Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring they stay on time and on budget.

· Conduct job walks and inspections with clients and subcontractors.

· Negotiate and issue subcontracts.

· Prepare comprehensive project correspondence and documentation.

Communication

· Articulate bid inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications clearly.

· Review RFP specifications and attend pre-bid meetings.

· Communicate job scope and expectations with contractors and clients.

· Read blueprints and schematics to determine proper procedures.

· Attend scheduled conference calls.

Family

· Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Foremen, and Engineering Teams.

· Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

· Establish and maintain professional relationships with vendors.

· Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.

Exceptional Service

· Provide clear communication of bid details with clients and subcontractors.

· Research emerging technologies to support security integration solutions.

· Source reliable and competitive components.

· Estimate labor hours accurately.

· Evaluate potential suppliers and subcontractors for best pricing.

· Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Profitability

· Analyze blueprints and design specifications for RFP responses.

· Find cost-effective solutions based on engineering, quality, and material availability.

· Estimate and sell new jobs, following up on leads.

· Design security access systems to meet project specifications.

· Develop estimates, bid documents, and takeoffs.

· Work with the SAS team to design integrated security systems.

· Familiarize with client work procedures for efficient project execution.

· Create installation drawings for subcontractors and technicians.

About YOU:

Your Qualifications:

• Strong computer skills. Proficient with MS Office software products: Word/Excel.
• 2 years’ experience minimum working with electronic security systems, access control, video surveillance and intercom systems.
• Detail-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels in the organization in a team environment.
• Willingness to work as required to meet deadlines.
• Able to read and understand Plans and Technical Specifications.

Compensation Range: $65,000 - $90,000 DOE plus commissions for jobs sold that meet or exceed budgeted income.
