POSITION TITLE: Enrollment Specialist

LOCATION: Springfield, IL. We are only able to facilitate employment for individuals residing in the following states: Pennsylvania (PA), Illinois (IL), Virginia (VA), Wyoming (WY), Oklahoma (OK), North Carolina (NC), and Ohio (OH).

COMPANY PROFILE: ACES$ Financial Management Services is a division of MyCIL, Northeast Pennsylvania Center for Independent Living. ACES$ provides payroll management solutions for persons with disabilities and their attendants. ACES$ is actively seeking to recruit an energetic and enthusiastic Enrollment Specialist employee to work in a team-oriented environment.

Reporting to the Enrollments Manager, the Enrollment Specialist is responsible for the initial coordination of fiscal required paperwork to begin consumers on the various waiver programs.

THE ROLE DEFINED:

  • Estimated Percent of Time: 90%

Follows through with service orders. Provides to the consumer, and /or their assigned representative, the necessary training and required paperwork; ensures the proper completion of documents. Delivers all necessary paperwork to the Payroll department for internal processing.

  • Estimated Percent of Time: 5%

Updates required forms according to program changes. Responsible to research guidelines and when changes occur. Informs other supporting staff of all required changes.

  • Estimated Percent of Time: 5%

Maintains consumer database and updates information accordingly. Networks with various agencies to keep established relationships.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Minimum high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Associates or Bachelors in a related field preferred.
  • Prior enrollment experience, preferably in a non-profit or social service environment.

DESIRED PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • High attention to detail is a requirement.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Positive interpersonal skills required.
  • Strong organization skills required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Sedentary work: duties require exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally (10-33% of time) and/or a minute amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, and pull items such as files.
  • May involve bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting on occasion.
  • Works in a well-lit office area.
