At ACG, We are looking to fill the role of service technician. ACG is a top tier source for sales and service of air compressors and compressed air equipment. We are a gold level distributor and authorized service company for one of the largest and top rated compressor brands in the industry. The successful candidate will be expected to be able to perfrom standard preventive maintenance tasks along with being able to diagnose and repair mechanical and control/electrical problems with both reciprocating and rotary screw air compressors and related accessory equipment. Familiarity with rigging and plumbing procedures is a plus!

Because we are a small company where every single employee plays a huge role, this position has potential to be a multi-faceted role. The candidate will start with perfroming standard maintenance on air comrressors and related equipment. The candidate will travel to each job-site and perform the maintenance work. There can be anywhere from 1-4 jobs per day. Overtime work may also be available. When the candidate becomes familiar enough with maintenance they will start taking on technical repairs and troubleshooting jobs. When the candidate excels at technical repairs they will have the opportunity to be promoted to service manager.

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license

- Mechanically inclined

- High School Diploma

- Self-Motivated / Ability to work by yourself

- Great communication skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Experience with maintenance or repairs

- Ability to travel

- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, crouch, kneel, work on ladders, drive for long periods of time

The Position:

Your responsibilities will include the following:

- Travel around Massachusetts and New Hampshire in a safe and punctual manner

- Conduct yourself in a professional and courteous way

- Perform preventive maintenance services on air compressors and all related accessories

- Communicate clearly and with confidence

- Neatly and accurately track all parts used on jobsite, along with time spent on-site

- Clean up after yourself, leave the job-site neater than you found it

- Keep a clean and organized company van

- Complete and turn in field reports that capture all time and work completed on site

- Provide diagnostic analysis, repair, or preventative maintenance to customers

- Practice and adhere to all safety and training

Salary: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
