Job Posting: Rental Inspector and Handyman/Maintenance

Location: Davis, Weber, and Morgan Counties

Starting Pay: $18-20/hour
Hours: 35-40 hours per week

Join our team as a Rental Inspector and Handyman/Maintenance professional and help us maintain high-quality rental properties in Davis, Weber, and Morgan counties!

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to resident complaints and resolve maintenance-related queries.
• Perform indoor and outdoor property inspections, ensuring compliance with lease agreements.
• Minimize potential safety hazards and coordinate necessary property maintenance.
• Photograph and log violations or potential issues, documenting actions taken.
• Administer, track, and maintain paper and electronic records of all rental inspection activities.
• Perform ad hoc painting, electrical, and carpentry duties.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repair tasks, including diagnosing and fixing issues with electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, appliances, and more.
• Replace filters, maintain heating systems, fix leaks, and paint walls as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills and comfort using technology such as iPads, laptops, and computers.
• Knowledge of using Buildium and/or Trello.
• Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to solve various problems effectively.
• Experience with routine maintenance tasks and repair work in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general handyman duties.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
