Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Telecommunications Technician for a 1 day job this Wednesday, June 26th with potential for additional work as our business grows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications and be proficient in a variety of technical skills. This is a hands-on role that requires a focus on quality, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

- Install, test, and maintain a range of telecommunications equipment and systems, including alarm systems and telephone networks.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems, using power tools and diagnostic equipment as needed.
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment and systems, using schematics and technical knowledge to identify and resolve problems.
- Provide technical support and training to customers and colleagues, as needed.
- Work safely and effectively, using lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment as required.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations, including the National Electric Code (NEC).
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and repair reports.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and developments in the field, and apply this knowledge to improve customer satisfaction and reduce downtime.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Telecommunications Technician, with a strong understanding of telecommunications systems and equipment.
- A high level of proficiency in the use of power tools, diagnostic equipment, and other technical tools.
- A strong understanding of alarm system sales and the ability to identify and respond to customer needs.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- The ability to detect and resolve complex technical issues, with minimal supervision.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- A clean criminal record and the ability to pass a background check.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
