The Accounts Payable Associate position is responsible for vendor payments and control of expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling of invoices in a timely manner. This position works closely with other Corporate Office and Accounting positions, Branch Managers, and Vendors. Attention to detail and accuracy of reporting in a fast-paced environment is essential.
Essential Job Functions:

• Verify approval and process and input data on invoices and check requests
• Audit and verify expense reports before payment
• Code invoices
• Update and maintain vendor database
• Process and enter high-volume of vendor invoices weekly
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Ability to process and follow-up on rush items
• Maintain accounts payable files

Desired Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent business experience
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles
• Peachtree accounting software package (or equivalent)
