Responsibilities
  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads and pastries according to established recipes and standards.
  • Monitor inventory of bread baking ingredients and ensure their availability for daily production.
  • Collaborate with the Head Baker and Chef to develop and refine recipes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Adhere to portion control and presentation standards to ensure consistency in taste and appearance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new pastry menu items and seasonal specials.
  • Stay updated with current industry trends and techniques in pastry making.
  • Assist with the training and supervision of junior pastry staff as needed.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
RequirementsREQUIREMENTS
  • Previous experience as a Baker or in a similar role within a culinary establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of baking and pastry techniques
  • Weekend availability required.
  • Proficiency in preparing a variety of pastries, desserts, and breads.
  • Creativity and attention to detail to create visually appealing and consistent products.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • A culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not mandatory.

  • Report any unsafe working condition.
