Acme Transportation Company is Hiring a General Labor / Maintenance Assistant Near University Park, IL
Acme Transportation Company is looking for a General Labor and Maintenance Assistant $17 - $20 an Hour.The General Labor and Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for the following:
- Will fall under the guidance of the Building and Asset Manager.
- Will perform tasks as assigned.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must have an excellent attendance record.
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
- Must be willing to work over-time as necessary.
- Must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to learn various project assignments.
- Must be able to drive a company pickup truck to pick up parts and perform various tasks related to equipment maintenance.
- Experience with general maintenance and tire repair/replacement on commercial vehicles is preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Must be able to multi-task and function on your own.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- $17/hr - $20/hr depending on experience.
- Medical/Dental/Vision insurance after 90 days.
- PTO is earned after 90 days up to 5 days in your first year.
- Direct Deposit is available.
- Six days of holiday pay start with your first holiday.
- Time and a half after 40 hours.
