Responsibilities:
- Manage all daily financial transactions
- Review and maintain a balanced general ledger
- Prepare financial statements by closing books monthly and annually
- Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
- Compute and record numerical data
- Check the accuracy of business transactions
- Perform data entry and administrative duties
- Must be familiar with trial balance, inventory, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, payroll, and taxes
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
- Prefer Minimum of a 2 year accounting degree with more than 5 years of experience in referenced responsibilities
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Acorn operates six base facilities (warehouses/yards), 14 card locks (automated gas stations), and multiple sales offices across Colorado. Servicing a customer base from agriculture to aerospace.
The HQ office is located in downtown Colorado Springs.
