Position Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Lorain, OH (Sheffield Center Facility)

**MUST be able to travel for training to the UK for 3 months (blocks of 4-6 weeks, with opportunity to return home in between) & have a VALID Passport**

GENERAL SUMMARY

Production of stairlift rails and parts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overseeing the forming process
• Responsible for ensuring that products are produced on time and are of good quality by monitoring product standards
• Monitoring the production processes and ensuring standard operating procedures (SOPs) are being followed by all staff
• Supervising and motivating a team of workers including performance management and identifying training needs
• Maintain & seek to improve housekeeping standards
• Manage staff and absences accordingly
• Highlight any staff who has difficulty reaching their targets to the Production Manager
• Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed
• Report on production outputs on a daily and weekly basis for all production within your area.
• To attend production and communication meetings and any other meeting when required
• Making sure all special bends are made in a timely manner and are as per the drawing provided
• Keeping track of nylons/ snakes and ordering replenishments when required

• Performance reviews are completed on time
• Adherence to SOPs
• To attend Production/Communication meetings and any other meeting required
• Train all new staff
• Making sure crane is signed off each morning

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Have substantial experience in a similar supervisory role
• Experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Be able to understand and articulate different subjects
• The ability to get results
• Have experience of working in a fast-paced environment

PHISICAL REQUIREMENTS/TRAINING

Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear.

Frequent and/or long periods of time training in our facility in the UK.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
