Primary Responsibility

Properly prepare and pack customerbelongings for move and load onto truck. Accompany CDL Driver/Mover totransport and deliver customer belongings.

• Dutiesand responsibilities include:
• AssistCompany drivers in completing moves with high customer satisfaction.
• Assistwith the preparation of the residence/office to prevent property damage.
• Properlypad, wrap, pack, and secure household goods/office materials in cartons for safeinterstate transportation.
• Carryfurniture and boxes to/from truck and job site.
• Loadand properly secure items for transportation and unloading.
• Positionitems at residence/office to customer’s specifications.
• Utilizeappropriate safety equipment to move furniture and cartons.
• Clean,restock truck with necessary supplies.
• Befriendly, courteous, and professional and maintain a positive attitude at alltimes.
• Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools.
• Measure, weight, and count products and materials.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met.
• Record product packaging and order information on specified forms and records.
• Lines and pad crates and assembles cartons.
• Obtainsand sorts product.
• Wrapsprotective material around household goods.
• Insertsgoods into containers.
• Closesand seals containers. Labels containers, container tags, and products.
• Packsspecial arrangements or selections of household items.
• Inspectsmaterials, items, and containers at each step of packaging process.
