**DESCRIPTION** This position must be filled in Kansas City, MO - It is 5 days in the office and requires **photography** experience. Your role will involve capturing **high-resolution photographs** of products using the appropriate lighting, equipment, and angles to ensure the images are of superior quality for both **planogram** and **online retail purposes** . You’ll be responsible for **editing** the **photos to align with planogram specifications** and industry norms, conducting **quality assurance** **reviews** , and **uploading the final images to our servers** . Additionally, you’ll meticulously document and log product details, **employing tools such as calipers to accurately measure and record product dimensions,** while others may require manual data entry. You will also **visit local retail outlets** to survey specific product categories, **identify any gaps in our image database** , and photograph the necessary products on-site. **RESPONSIBILITIES** Demonstrate sound design and production principles using proper lighting, angles, and backgrounds to produce high quality stills that support planogram and e-commerce needs. **Edit images using Photoshop** and/or other software to remove backgrounds, crop, and adjust lighting/color through automated and manual techniques. Capture and record **product attributes** including **dimensions** using automated tools and manual input. **Visit local retailers and capture missing images** and attributes in-store using the portable equipment provided. Maintain up to date knowledge on all new/cutting edge **Imaging Software, Equipment & Technology** , providing recommendations to management as needed. Other duties as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS** Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in industry required. Vocational or technical school degree also acceptable. 5 years of related photography experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Mastery of **photography equipment** , including, but not limited to, **cameras, lenses, lighting, and editing software.** **Merchandising and/or retail experience helpful** with understanding of consumer goods terminology. Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of **Microsoft** applications including PowerPoint and **Excel** . Strong understanding of graphic design principles and **image optimization** . Knowledge of content management systems and/or **digital library** . Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. An ability to work with a great deal of **autonomy** and **collaborate** with internal and external participants. Basic understanding of **HTML** .
