Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in providing high-quality oral healthcare to patients. This role requires proficiency in various dental procedures and exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
- Perform lab tasks, including pouring and trimming models

Requirements:
- Completion of a Dental Assistant program or relevant certification
- Proficiency in medical records management and documentation
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Familiarity with medical imaging for dental diagnostics
- Experience in endodontics, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and general dentistry procedures is preferred

Pay: $17.97 - $19.14 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

Experience:

• Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
