Acquisition NexGen is Hiring a Director of Corporate Operations Near Omaha, NE

Acquisition NexGen is currently in search of a Director of Corporate Operations/HR for a Company with locations in Omaha and Lincoln, NE.

This is a Permanent/Full-Time role.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Corporate Operations / Human Resources will oversee and streamline the operational processes across all departments within the company.

This role is responsible for ensuring efficiency, improving performance, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Will lead and manage the HR department, ensuring the development and implementation of effective HR strategies that support the company's overall goals and objectives.

This role involves overseeing all aspects of HR, including recruitment, talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, and organizational development. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of corporate operations, extensive HR expertise, and a proven track record of driving organizational success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for corporate operations, aligning departmental goals with the company’s overall objectives.

Performance Management: Develop and monitor key performance indicators to ensure operational excellence and accountability.

Resource Management: Oversee the allocation and management of resources, including personnel, technology, and budget, to maximize operational effectiveness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other department heads to foster a collaborative environment and ensure alignment on strategic initiatives.

Compliance: Ensure that all operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Team Development: Mentor and develop staff, providing guidance and opportunities for professional growth.

Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company's business goals and objectives.

Talent Acquisition and Management: Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent. Develop and implement talent management programs, including succession planning, career development, and performance management.

Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, resolving employee grievances, and implementing programs that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

Compensation and Benefits: Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain talent while maintaining cost efficiency.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with legal requirements and best practices.

Organizational Development: Lead initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, including change management, team building, and leadership development programs.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Promote and implement DEI initiatives to ensure a diverse and inclusive workplace.

HR Metrics and Reporting: Develop and monitor key HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and provide regular reports to senior management.

Budget Management: Oversee the HR department budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to meet strategic goals.

Employee Training and Development: Design and implement training programs that enhance employee skills and support professional growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Human Resources, or a related field. HR Certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Experience working in the Federal/DoD industry is highly preferred, but not required.

Skills:

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance issues.

Strategic thinker with a proactive approach.
