ccurately transcribes physician's orders * Completes monthly summaries as scheduled * Reviews the care plan with NAs on monthly summary day and updates the care plan to reflect the resident’s current condition. * Notifies the RN Supervisor immediately of a significant change in resident’s condition * Reports and records changes in resident condition to the RN Supervisor * Communicates resident transfers to immediate family and via email to department heads * Completes transfer form for all transfers * Updates care plans with clear, concise, time limited goals to reflect resident condition and directs team to implement approaches * Assists physicians with rounds, examinations and treatments as needed * Collects laboratory specimens e.g.: urine, cultures, stool, etc. and arranges for delivery to Hospital with accurate and complete requisitions. Documents in PCC when laboratory work is done *SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS* * Nursing Home Experience - a plus * *New Grads welcome to apply* * BLS (AHA) *- Required * * COVID Vaccine *- Required* * *Must possess a current license in PA or a temporary work permit - Required at time of Interview!* * Must possess knowledge of: medical asepsis, body mechanics, personal care of residents, correct use and care of equipment, observation techniques, reporting and recording, thorough knowledge of nursing theory and it's application * Must be willing to possess knowledge of and comply with regulations, policies, procedures, contracts and philosophy of the institution * Must maintain a courteous and professional manner toward residents, visitors and co-workers and a dedication to meet the needs of the elderly * Must have awareness of cost containment, utilize time fully, and properly care for equipment * Must possess ability to accept and follow written and verbal directives * Must utilize good communication and observation skills *CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS* * BLS *STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS* * Pennsylvania Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 36 per week Schedule: * 12 hour shift * Night shift Work setting: * In-person Experience: * Nursing Home: 1 year (Required) * Supervisor: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: * BLS Certification (Required) * RN License (Required) * Pennsylvania State License (Required) Work Location: In person
