Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Infection Preventionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible to serves as Hospital Infection Preventionist and implements the Hospital Infection Control program.
Position: RN - Infection Preventionist
Location: Coos Bay, OR
Facility: Hospital
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract with possible extension
Shift: 8 hr days, 40 GWW
Pay Rate: $2600-$2842
REQUIRED
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, Epidemiology or related field (or the equivalent)
- Five (5) years of experience in healthcare, with progressive experience in the field of infection prevention
- BLS (AHA)
- STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS-Oregon-license does not need to be active at time of submission, must be willing to apply
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position
- Demonstrates the ability to operate applicable office equipment
- Exhibits the ability to communicate effectively with hospital leadership, departments, & with the public
- Exhibits the ability to maintain confidentiality, think and act independently with minimal supervision
- Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $2,600.00 - $2,842.00 per week
