Title: Cloud TesterLocation: Albany, NY (HYBRID)We are seeking a Cloud Tester with the following qualifications:Mandatory Requirements
- Proficient in testing cloud-based applications deployed on platforms like AWS (Amazon Web Services), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong grasp of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques, with experience in both manual and automated testing approaches.
- Proficiency in utilizing automation testing tools such as Selenium, Puppeteer, or similar, specifically for testing cloud-based applications.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Shell scripting for test automation. Familiarity with Java, C#, or JavaScript is advantageous.
- Experience in testing APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for cloud services using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, along with experience in integrating testing processes within these pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with cloud security concepts and best practices, including data encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and network security.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for testing microservices-based cloud applications.
- Experience working in Agile development environments, participating in sprint planning, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with development teams, document test cases, and report bugs.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions independently or as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or ISTQB certification in software testing are considered advantageous.
