Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining applications using PowerBuilder.
- Collaborating with business analysts and end users to gather and understand requirements.
- Creating technical specifications and documenting software designs.
- Performing unit testing and troubleshooting application issues.
- Optimizing application performance and ensuring scalability.
- Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to team members.
- Supporting and enhancing existing applications.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and technologies related to PowerBuilder.
- Proven experience as a PowerBuilder Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in PowerBuilder programming language and development environment.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
