The ACS is currently going through an exciting period of transformation (both organisational and Digital transformation), which will see us evolve to be more relevant in a changing market by introducing additional industry-focused services and product offerings.

An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Business Development Manager - Memberships to join our team.

About the Role:

As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating revenue the Membership Sales across corporate accounts nationally.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing new corporate account relationships, including membership, sponsorships, and workforce development programs.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to prioritize opportunities and develop integrated partnership strategies.
  • Guiding customers from acquisition to account management, representing ACS and our solutions to potential partners.
  • Achieving revenue targets through partnerships and upselling activities.

About you:

  • You have demonstrated expertise and around 4 years of experience in marketing, sales, or partnerships and a history of achieving your individual targets.
  • You will be a natural ‘people person’ who thrives on building strong relationships and won't be afraid to hunt and generate your own leads.
  • You will be comfortable engaging with perspective customers at industry events and meeting as well as on the phone and via email
  • You will have a passion for the Technology industry and will be a self-motivated, creative individual, with a proven track record in benefits-based selling (preferably corporate memberships) within the corporate sector
  • You will love collaborating internally with your peers and colleagues
  • You will be available to travel nationally as required
