We are seeking an experienced and quality-driven Automotive Technician to fill an open position in our car dealership’s service department.
Our ideal candidate will be confident running diagnostics equipment to identify and complete automotive repairs to electrical and software systems.

Compensation :
$40,000 - $65,000 yearly
Responsibilities :
- Follow a checklist-based approach to comprehensively examine all vehicle systems, such as the engine, transmission, air conditioning, and brake systems
- Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes
- Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause of malfunction codes with the vehicle’s integrated computer system
- Establish processes for tracking diagnostics and system repairs, maintaining up-to-date manufacturer specifications, and more
- Facilitate customer satisfaction and repeat business by following all manufacturer specifications for vehicle systems repairs
- Team up with managers and other installers to diagnose and service cars coming in for audio and safety upgrades
- Install supplied audio and safety devices
- Take a personal approach to continual education
Qualifications :
- Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary
- National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired
- Must have completed a post-secondary training program in automotive service technology; associate degree a plus
- GED or high school diploma is mandatory
- Must be an effective communicator who maintains a solid work ethic
- A strong team player who can also work independently
- Must have a collaborative mentality to problem-solve
