We are seeking a detail-oriented Aircraft Technician for a safety-sensitive position that requires inclusion in an FAA approved Drug and Alcohol screening program. The purpose of this job is to consistently and accurately disassemble, clean, evaluate, perform repairs, modifications, and assembly on aircraft components in accordance with approved data. The successful candidate will work independently with limited supervision, using precision measuring instruments and gauges such as feeler gauges, dial indicators, micrometers, calipers. You will also perform repair of detail components by filing, stoning, lapping, and polishing using power and hand tools for drilling, sanding, and riveting.
This is a contract position with a duration of 52 Weeks.
This is a fully on-site position in Trumbull, Connecticut.
This position operates on a 4/10 work week schedule. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates with automotive trade school experience and an FAA Airframe license are preferred but it's not a requirement.
