Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking Medical Assistants for various locations. The successful candidates will manage the check-in and registration process, interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts. They may also be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. The role includes preparing treatment rooms for examination of patients and registering patients upon their arrival. The role involves both front office and back office work.

Hard Skills

• CCMA or RMA active certificate
• Current BLS through American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Point of Care Testing
• Basic Medical Assistant duties
• Ability to type quickly, basic computer knowledge
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Soft Skills

• Detail oriented
• Able to rely on experience and judgment to perform a variety of tasks
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Able to interact and treat all persons with fairness, respect and sensitivity to cultural/social difference
• Flexible with change
