Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be integral to the operations of the Pharmacy Services department within a notable healthcare insurance company. Your main responsibilities include reviewing Prior Authorizations, making initial approval or denial decisions, and forwarding these to a Pharmacist for final review. This role requires handling a variety of health plans and medications, processing prescription exceptions, and resolving insurance billing issues. You will also engage directly with members and physicians via phone to assist with their inquiries, ensuring a seamless service experience.

Hard Skills

Work Environment

This is a fully REMOTE position, requiring a strong internet connection and a private office space. You will be working with multiple screens and systems, ensuring a high level of service is maintained.
