Job Title: Process Technician
Job Description
Seeking an individual with an interest and experience in the manufacture of chemicals and materials, a keen eye for detail, and strong passion for working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of analytical testing methods, nanometer charaterization, material synthesis and manufacturing and be a critical part of the team manufacturing various specialty nanomaterials under the guidance of the Sr scientists or engineers.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Operate analytical instruments to measure and collect data for production scale materials.
•Produce test samples and measure performance
•Test, compile, and analyze data for production scale materials.
•Maintain quality databases and review Quality KPIs.
•Manage calibration and upkeep of Quality analytical instruments and equipment.
•Develop characterization methodologies as necessary and generate S.O.Ps accordingly.

• Assist with definition of product specifications for new production materials to align product performance with internal and external customer requirements.
• Participate in product nonconformance investigations and corrective action improvements.
• Prepare technical reports and summaries for internal and external use.

Requirements:
•BS in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or related disciplines with industrial QC/QA experience.
•Familiarity with JMP or similar software, design of experiment, statistical analysis, and Quality standards.
•Knowledge of optoelectronic devices, thin film coatings, and hands on experience with related analytical instruments a plus.
•Experience with mixing, blending, and wet coating operations a plus
•Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
•Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member in a multi-disciplinary environment.
