Civil Site CAD Technician - Fort Wayne, IN

We are actively hiring a Civil Site CAD Technician to join a growing Civil Consulting firm in their Fort Wayne, IN, office! This team primarily designs the Site Work for schools, parks, and sports complexes, and this person will have the ability to work with skilled professionals while impacting local Northeast Indiana projects. This position is open due to the growth this team is experiencing as a result of their great work in the area. Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare Site Development Construction Drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D to design the Grading, Drainage, Utilities and other site-related features.
• Collaborate with Projects Engineers on Design Activities and prepare Engineering Drawings for Construction.
• Supporting other related Engineering and Design needs as they arise.

Job Requirements:

• 2 Years of Experience in Civil Site Drafting/Design
• 2 Years of Experience using Civil 3D a Professional Setting
• Ability to make a quick impact on Site projects without training

Schedule:

• The standard work schedule will include Monday through Thursday from 7am to 5pm EST; plus Friday from 7am to 11am EST.
• Candidates are also welcomed to work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm EST, if they prefer.
• Employees average between 44-45 hours per week.
• Office is located in Fort Wayne, IN.

Compensation:

• CAD Specialist II = $28.00/hour to $35.50/hour
  • Professional experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • 3 to 5 years of drafting experience in a professional setting
  • Minimum of a year of drafting experience in the Civil Industry
• CAD Specialist III = $35.50/hour to $41.50/hour
  • Very proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, probably knows other civil design software as well
  • 5 to 10 years of drafting experience in the Civil Industry
  • Has significant experience drafting water / wastewater systems
  • Ability to train and mentor others
• Designer I = $38.50/hour to $45.00/hour
  • All the qualifications of a CAD Specialist III
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in Civil Drafting
  • Ability to do the entire layout of the project with minimal-to-no input from Civil Engineer.
  • Ability to do calculations and run engineering modeling programs.
• Designer II = $45.00/hour to $50.00/hour
  • All the qualifications of Designer I with more experience
