Job Title: Clinical Research Manager
Job Description
The Clinical Research Manager oversees the conduct of industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials in accordance with trial protocols, FDA regulations, and ICH/GCP guidelines. This role functions as a clinical study coordinator as needed, and trains, mentors, and develops clinical study coordinators and research staff. The Manager works closely with managers and leaders to facilitate the initiation through completion of clinical research studies, provides supervision and performance reviews of clinical research staff, and actively participates in outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities include:

• Leading the Talent Acquisition process, team development, and performance management of research team members.
• Supervising the day-to-day activities of the clinical research team, including oversight of team productivity and maintenance of personnel and staffing schedules.
• Ensuring the delivery of safe care with respect for all patients/participants.
• Acting as a service line expert and resource for the research team.
• Monitoring and evaluating the quality and safety of clinical operations.
• Building and maintaining supportive relationships with team members.
• Collaborating with operations managers, study intake, research services, and external partners for a timely start-up and smooth transition to assigned coordinators.
• Ensuring adequate inventory levels and maintenance of medical tools and clinical supply areas.
• Developing and implementing processes that optimize workflow and scheduling.
