Actalent is Hiring a Construction Assistant Project Manager Near Des Plaines, IL
Description:
- Handle day-to-day project requirements
- Assist Project Manager's or Senior Project Manager's with project tasks
- Handle submittals, RFI's, change orders, and other subcontractor or owner coordination
- Coordinate with on-site Superintendent staff in regards to schedules, project progress, and more
- Utilize and organize documents in construction software
- Assist with project drawing coordination
- Lead or assist with job site meetings which can require traveling to jobsites
- Assist with comprehensive project schedules in MS Project
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Architecture preferred, Construction Management secondary
- Experience with a General Contractor or Developer working on large projects ground-up or larger renovations preferred
- Industrial/Warehouse/Distribution Project Experience would be a plus
- Experience with Construction software's such as MS Project, Procore, Prolog, or CMiC
- Ability to travel to jobsites requiring overnight stays at times
