Perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. Communicate with project managers, engineering technicians, client representatives, and contractor’s representatives regarding construction site requirements and test results. Transport material samples with associated documentation to the laboratory for further testing and analysis. Prepare and submit data and observations in both written and digital forms for daily transmission to the Project Manager. Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas. May also assist with scheduling and dispatch of Technicians to project sites. Adhere to strict safety standards.

This is a fully on-site position in Lenexa, Kansas.
The role involves 75% field work at the job site and 25% office work. Some lab testing will be conducted in a lab in Lenexa. The candidate will work in small teams of 1-3 people, fostering a 'can do' culture. When work is slow, proactive engagement in useful tasks is expected. Dress code includes boots, jeans, and appropriate work shirts.
