The ideal candidate will want to join a rapidly growing company and oversee several projects from bidding to execution. You will work with ownership and act as the point of contact for clients. The role will be based in Westlake Village, California but will conduct regular local travel throughout the San Fernando and Conejo Valleys. The pay is up to 105k/year bonus.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of home construction projects from pre-construction through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control

Collaborate with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors to ensure project goals and specifications are met

Establish project objectives, policies and procedures within the boundaries of company policy (i.e,, project start-up meetings, project start-up information, progress meetings, etc.)

Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and delivery of materials and services

Manage project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety and building codes

Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, changes, and any potential risks or delays

Coordinate inspections, permits, and approvals necessary for project completion

Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment

Qualifications

5-7 Years of commercial construction field in either new construction, renovation and rehab, preferably in residential

The ideal candidate will have a passion for residential renovations/home building, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards

Proven experience as a Project Manager in high-end home construction/renovation, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes

Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages of renovation/construction.

Experience leading successful project teams, including development of employee and maintaining positive relationships.

Position requires the candidate to use good independent judgment, discretion, and work independently

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to express ideas clearly

Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering, similar field

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
