Job Title: Safety Specialist

As a Safety Manager, you will oversee and enforce safe working practices and procedures at the job site, ensuring the safety of all personnel. Your role includes coordinating and implementing site-specific rules and regulations, reviewing safety documents, and being accountable to the corporate head office. You will engage in various on-site and administrative safety functions, conduct safety surveys, provide training, and develop safety programs. Additionally, you will handle safety reviews, manage safety databases, and participate in safety meetings and audits to promote and enforce a culture of safety across the project. **This site is a plant expansion/brownfield project and will include demo of current equipment to move into the new addition. Strong candidates that can own the project and act as the owner's representative for our client are needed here; with potential to move onto the next project if all goes well.

Hard Skills

• Industrial Construction Experience (preference is Food Manufacturing)
• Safety Management
• OSHA 30 Certified Trainer

Soft Skills

• Ability to operate in high stress environments
• Strong management skills
• Ability to build & maintain relationships with diverse personnel

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hazelton, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

The current schedule is 7-10s. For individuals located more than 50 miles away from the site, per diem is available, trip home 1x/month and mob/demob pay.
