The successful candidate for the Controls Engineer role will support ongoing critical projects within the facility. These projects are based on supplier rejections due to manufacturing issues that arise during production. The issues could be related to tooling, final inspection or quality of the overall product. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for supporting production in reducing or eliminating equipment and tooling downtime or scrap, utilizing good analytical methodologies. Additionally, the role will involve control systems design, programming, simulation, testing and start-up assistance.
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
This is a fully on-site position in Chicago, Illinois.
The workplace consists of 6 total assembly lines and 17 Fanuc robots.
