Specific engineering responsibilities include:
reading schematics, using AutoCAD, programming PLCs & HMIs using ladder logic, performing field startup & test, work in industrial environments, work with electrical engineers. 20% travel is expected. Non-engineering responsibilities include: working with project managers to meet project deadlines, work with purchasing to spec parts. This position will report to the Electrical Engineering Supervisor
This job consists of approx. 80% office work, 20% field work.
Qualifications:
Requirements: The successful candidate must have a 2 year degree related to electronics. Read schematics, program in ladder logic, PLCs (Rockwell or
Siemens), HMIs.
Preferred:
Experience with the following: AutoCAD, VFDs, Troubleshooting, field startups, panel wiring.
Experience level:
We are hiring anywhere from medium level to advanced PLC programmers.
