Job Description: Intermediate Architectural Designer

As an Intermediate Architectural Designer, you’ll collaborate with firm Principals and specialized planners to create innovative building configurations that seamlessly blend utility and design excellence. Your work will incorporate industry best practices, ensuring exceptional outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Programmatic Relationships: Develop programmatic relationships that optimize building layouts, considering functionality, aesthetics, and client needs.
2. Client-Centric Design: Craft buildings that not only meet functional requirements but also resonate with the client’s desired image, spatial preferences, and aesthetic sensibilities.
3. Design Issue Communication: Assist clients in understanding relevant design issues, fostering informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Code Compliance and Testing: Evaluate building designs against codes and emerging issues, ensuring compliance and safety.
5. Design Principles and Detailing: Articulate design principles to guide the detailing phase. You’ll oversee critical design details and lead presentations of design concepts.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Revit: Proficiency in Revit software for architectural modeling and documentation.
• Schematic Design: Experience in conceptualizing and developing schematic designs.
• Bachelor’s Degree: A Bachelor of Architecture or a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• Construction Documents: Prior experience preparing construction documents for large, technically sophisticated projects.
• Collaboration: Ability to work closely with project teams, including serving as the Architect’s Construction Phase Representative.
