Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team in Hawaii. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in facilities electrical engineering design, including sizing electrical services, service transformers, and secondary power distribution systems. Candidates must either have or be able to obtain a Tier 3 Secret Clearance.
This position requires the candidate to actively live in Hawaii or relocate within a month.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical engineering design for facilities, including calculations to size electrical services, service transformers, and secondary power distribution systems.
• Conduct calculations to size overcurrent devices, disconnect switches, branch circuits, and feeders.
• Develop lighting calculations, layouts, and specify light fixtures.
• Create detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD and prepare product specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant standards.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering design for facilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with developing product specifications.
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Must have or be able to obtain a Tier 3 Secret Clearance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
