Description:
The Electrical Professional Engineer will:
Perform site investigations. Prepare calculations drawings and design specifications
detailing the layout and materials for all electrical requirements/systems including site utility requirements (backup generators
overhead power lines 12kV, switchgear, etc.) and building electrical requirements/systems
In addition, the electrical engineer will design and prepare deliverable drawings for the electrical systems. The electrical engineer shall prepare the required calculations for the plans. He/she will prepare specifications, requisitions, and bid analysis/purchase orders for the materials covered on the drawings. The electrical engineer shall coordinate and provide input with the architect, structural engineer, mechanical engineer, and civil engineer to provide a fully coordinated design package.
BS in Electrical Engineering is required. Six years minimum of consulting experience with an electrical engineering firm required. REVIT/CADD/Electrical Engineering software experience is also required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
BS Electrical Engineering degree;
Electrical Engineering license obtained from any State but can get reciprocity in California within 6 months.
