This engineering technician will be focused on problem solving and continuous improvement on the lines in the glass assembly division at this tier one automotive manufacturer.

• 2nd and 3rd shift available
• typical 40-45 hour work week
  • Can get up to 50-55 at times but not typical
  • Time and a half pay over 40 hours
• Soft skills are very important for this role and company. This person will work very closely with other divisions, managers, and products.
  • They look for ability to handle pressure and initiative. It is essential this person can work within a team, get along with others and also work on their own and ask for help when it's needed.

The goal for this person is to move them into an engineering role within 1-3 years, that could be either a Controls Engineering or Process Engineering role depending on what they jive with better or want to do.

MUST HAVES-

-PLC troubleshooting- Allen Bradley is what's used

-Robotics- ABB, Epson are what they use, will take a look at all types- don't need ground up experience

-Electrical design- reading prints and editing- Solidworks OR AutoCAD is acceptable, they use Solidworks

-.NET, C#, Ignition, Panel View, HMI's
