Key Responsibilities
- Execute test protocols, transfer verification/validation plans and document results.
- Manufacture products including reagents, buffer, calibrators and controls, intermediate products and complete batch records while maintaining cGMPs and GDP stadards
- Perform manufacturing testing, review and analyze data
- Perform laboratory activities including weighing, mixing, transferring chemicals and biologicals.
- Maintain laboratory equipment including route PM and calibration.
- Maintain and stock general laboratory supplies
- Work closely with quality and operational stakeholders, initiate and support investigations for nonconformances and deviations during manufacturing
- Follow laboratory's established policies and procedures, update supervisor and/or manager on all issues in a timely manner
-Perform other job duties as required
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree (Chemistry or Biochemistry preferred) and 1 years of related experience and/or training preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required with 3 years of related experience
- Previous experience working in a laboratory.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus
-Strong laboratory skills including pipetting, safety, and hazardous chemicals and biologicals handling.
- Knowledge of GMP, GDP, GLP, ISO and IVD regulations
- Ability to be organized and detail oriented to be able to prioritize own and other's work and meet business productivity metrics
- Ability to routinely lift 25 pounds
