Local medical device company seeks an experienced mechanical engineer to supplement their team.
Description:
· Design and develop medical devices.
· Working cooperatively with product development, quality, manufacturing, and regulatory
· Research and Implement new technologies and materials.
· Write and execute design verification/validations.
· Provide engineering and technical support to pre-clinical evaluations.
· Provide technical support during feasibility clinical evaluations.
· Documentation including test reports and manufacturing procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
· 5 years’ experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technical or Related Field Experience with manufacturing and R & D.
· Proven track record of designing and developing medical devices.
· Good written and verbal communication
· Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and cross-functionally.
· Proficiency in SolidWorks/CAD
· Experience with testing components/units in a lab setting.
· Knowledge of statistical analysis and applications
