Description:

Medical Assistant in fast paced urology single-provider clinic. Seeking 2-5 years of recent MA experience but open to less with urology experience or extra education/other qualifications. Must be comfortable in front and back office. Must be bilingual in Spanish. Practice can see up to 80 patients a day.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Handling calls, handling co-pays, scheduling appointment, prior authorizations, speaking to patients and explaining process of procedure, what appt will involve, what to bring to appt, an eye for details, willing to dig into what ever the day brings. Very strong customer service skills, indexing faxes, creating patient packets, quality checking patients chart to make sure dr is prepared for appointment. This is a front office/receptionist role.

1-2 year of experience

MA certification

CPR/BLS

Bilingual Spanish

Experience with NextGen EHR
