Current openings: 1 openings Bellaire (New Castle), 1 opening Peakwood

• Work with 2-3 different EMR systems
• Check in and check out patients
• Verification of date of birth and insurance
• Collect payment (credit card/check)
• Create appointments for patients checking out
• Contact patients for "no-shows" or rescheduling appointments
• Send out dictated letters from doctor via email to patients
• Assisting in the back office of the clinic as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

1 year medical experience (preferably ophthalmology experience, but very open to front office medical experience.)

If someone has great customer service great, the technical stuff can be trained. They are looking for candidate's with basic mathematical skills, computer experience working with multiple applications (email, EMR, instant messenger).

Experience reading and verifying insurance to patients
