Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Description
Are you a skilled Phlebotomist looking for a new challenge? Join our team to assist in performing various assigned duties, trouble-shooting, training, and making workflow recommendations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data, and decontamination. You will also be expected to update patient information, collect and store specimens according to established procedures, and explain the process of the venipuncture or other specimen collection in a clear but courteous manner. Furthermore, you will be required to demonstrate techniques using straight needles and/or butterfly needles, fully understand all of the physicians' orders, and match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Work Environment
We operate Monday through Friday, 9am-6pm with no weekends required. Our primary care office sees upwards to 60 patients per day.
