Description:
Actalent is seeking an Industry 4.0 knowledge capable individual who is able to assess and engage with suppliers on the integration of automation and data exchange in manufacturing. This role will be directly impacting suppliers for one of the largest Naval Submarine Programs and will ensure the superiority of our nation's Navy. You will demonstrate expertise in Industry 4.0 concepts, ideas and machinery can lead to more efficient and productive manufacturing in the Maritime Industrial Base.
In this role, day to day may include...
- Assessing the MIB in its adoption of Industry 4.0 and understand overall challenges faced by submarine suppliers
- Interface with MIB suppliers to understand their environment and integration of Industry 4.0 concepts
- Work with the MIB team, which is spread across the U.S. and focus on workforce development, strategy and technology developments
- Develop relationships with local and regional workforce and economic development organizations
- Travel to regional entities to meet with local stakeholders and suppliers about Industry 4.0

In this role, the ideal candidate will possess...
-7 years of professional experience
-Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science or an Engineering Discipline
- Industrial 4.0 knowledge, experience and understanding
- Have an understanding of the industrial manufacturing ecosystem
- Knowledge of industrial equipment and how Industry 4.0 can be integrated into equipment and the production floor
- Ability to work with people, assess situations and provide recommendations to solve problems
- Both oral and written skills including data analysis to present to sr leadership
- Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret Clearance
The preferred candidate will possess...
- Experience/knowledge of the Submarine or Maritime Industrial Base
- Project Management experience
- Supporting maritime acquisition
