Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description
We are searching for a dedicated Civil Engineer Project Manager with a PE license and significant land development experience, specifically in private development projects such as subdivisions. The successful candidate will supervise various tasks including grading design, water main design, storm water design, sanitary water design, detention design, parking lot design, and roadway design. This role is crucial in managing resources and staff to engineer projects comprehensively, covering contracts, budgets, preliminary and final design, preparation of bid and construction documents, invoices, project profitability, and providing engineering assistance during construction.
Hard Skills
- PE license in Civil Engineering
- Experience in grading design, water main design, storm water design, sanitary water design, detention design, parking lot design, roadway design
- Proficiency in OpenRoads and Bluebeam software
- Ability to prepare bid and construction documents
Soft Skills
- Effective communication with internal staff, consultants, and clients
- Experience in developing budgets, scope, and schedules
- Ability to create Request for Proposals (RFP) and Request for Qualifications (RFQ)
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Eugene, Oregon and some days remote.
Work Environment
3 days in office of consultant's choosing
