Description:

Our client is a Canadian owned and operated powerline contracting company that offers exemplary design, engineering, construction, and maintenance services in the power utility sector. They are currently hiring for a Sr. proposal Coordinator for their office in Abbotsford BC.

Reporting to the Director of Project Services, the Sr. Proposal Coordinator is primarily accountable for developing proposals, tenders and qualifications for construction services in the Power Transmission & Distribution sector. This individual will coordinate with clients and internal departments during all stages of the business development lifecycle, gather information on business opportunities, differentiators, and strengths for proposal content and edit and assemble winning proposal responses.

The Proposal Coordinator will likely be working with 3-5 stakeholders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVES:

- 10 years proposals experience

- Experience with answering to RFPs (typically will need to answer to 300 bids/quotes in a year, this can include 150 page proposal for projects up to 10mm)

- Experience dealing with proposals in multiple stages and handling small proposals with a quick turnaround time

- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships

- Microsoft office

- Outlook

- Power point

- Adobe

-High school diploma

NICE TO HAVES:

-Preferably has obtained CF.APMP Certification from the Association of Proposal Management Professionals

-Construction industry experience as a proposal coordinator
