Actalent is looking for a Remote Protection and Control Engineer to join their team!

Description:

·Pay is dependent on experience; $52 ­­­­­- $89 per hour ($108k - $185k; If you have previous experience, pay is negotiable

·Would be supporting the Des Moines, IA office

·Individuals with 8 years of experience can be fully remote

·Must have PE license

Job Responsibilities:

·Experience in high voltage substation and transmission system protection schemes for utility or generation clients

·The design of any/all of the following: high voltage one line and three-line diagrams

·Current and potential protection schemes, computer modeling/analysis of electrical systems

·Preparation of specifications for equipment and systems

·Report preparation

·Applying codes and standards, and performing and reviewing design computations

Skills and Qualifications:

·BS in Electrical Engineering

·Relevant experience with electric utility substations up to 345kV

·PE license required
