Description:

The Lab Tech in this role will assist in the following areas:

• Collect and prepare samples from various stages of production.
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of samples.
• Conduct thorough testing of finished products before release.
• Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate results.
• Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot any issues.
• Accurately enter and import test data into relevant systems.
• Maintain organized records of test results and related information.
• Generate CoCs and CoAs based on test results.
• Review and verify the accuracy of these documents.
• Perform testing and release incoming raw materials.
• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure material quality.
• Keep the laboratory spaces clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Regularly calibrate and maintain lab instruments.
• Organize and retain required records (both electronic and paper-based).
• Ensure compliance with record-keeping regulations.
• Coordinate activities with other Quality Technicians.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

Must Have:

• High School Diploma Required
• Preferred but Not Required: Bachelor's Degree in life science
• 2 years of laboratory experience (experience can be from college laboratory based coursework)
• If lacking a bachelor's degree 2 years of GMP quality lab experience required.
• Attention to detail and experience entering data into excel/quality systems
