Actalent is Hiring a Quality Technician Near PITTSBURGH, PA

Description:

  • To ensure delivery of high quality, safe, and reliable Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR), the Quality Technician must execute SOP’s, Work instructions, and record to ensure the components and products satisfies safety, technical, and customer requirements.
  • Perform component Quality Inspections (per company Design drawings) and maintain Quality database regarding compliance of components and Outsourced sub-assemblies. Prepare monthly/ quarterly summary reports.
  • Proficient use of instrumentation and measurement tools/ techniques for mechanical/ electrical components per specification document.
  • Facilitate and support investigation of QC defects, failure analysis, manufacturing process improvements, and problem solving activity.
  • Maintain Tool calibration database and per procedure.
  • Complete Supplier SCAR reports, internal quality auditing, 5S, and generate reports.
  • Support Red tag, and Yellow tag failure analysis and processes.
  • Keep work area clean and product staging organized, labeled, and documented.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum AS degree, or Technical school in: Computer Science, Electro-mechanical, or Electronics discipline.

  • Electro-mechanical hardware testing using software interface (data acquisition, etc.), or related industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Office 365, Linux a plus.
